School Age (AAOST)
You are your child’s first teacher. Let us be the second.
“We pick up where school leaves off – providing opportunities for learning that is hands-on, fun, and engaging.”
Our School Age programming is a collaborative effort between BCLC, the families of students, and the elementary and middle schools – allowing a seamless transition from the Beverly Schools (public and private) through our own transportation services. The program is also open on early school release days, school vacation weeks and school service closure days, as well as full time during the summer vacation months.
In addition to a hearty chef-prepared dinner meal, tutor-supported homework time, and structured outside activities in a nature focused environment – hands-on education is the focus of this program. Students have opportunities to participate in themed clubs such as Dramatic Arts, Photography, Life Sciences, Cooking, and Gardening. Children engage in activities of their individual interest and choosing. Families are provided with regular progress reports, ensuring that ongoing goals are being met. They are usually having so much fun, they forget that they are actually still learning!
